AdBlue is an auxiliary product necessary for newer trucks with an SCR-catalyst, that meet the Euro V and VI norms. Using AdBlue and the catalyst enables a more economical tuning of the engine, which makes for a lower fuel usage. Using AdBlue also makes you eligible for subsidies and tax benefits. Savings for transporters can run into thousands of Euros.
